Electronics, from the perspective of e-NABLE, refers to the use of electrical/electronic components to enhance the functioning of a prosthetic or assistive device.

Numerous e-NABLE or affiliated groups have developed or are developing electronic enhancements to existing e-NABLE devices, and many more plan to do so.

This Wiki can help collect, coordinate and organize information about the components needed to enhance devices, as well as a posting place for electronically enhanced devices.

We often refer to these devices as “Bionic”. According to Merriam-Webster, Bionics is, “A science concerned with the application of data about the functioning of biological systems to the solution of engineering problems”.

If you want to contribute to this Wiki but are not allowed, you are probably not a member of this group. We urge you to join this Electronics group, and add your designs to the proper category.
