Recipient
# **Your voice and insight are greatly valued!**
The recipients are our most valuable collaborators. e-NABLE recognizes that recipients have a great amount of knowledge and insight. They act as test pilots for our makers, providing important feedback for the maker. In addition, some of our best designers have limb differences. Therefore we encourage all recipients to work collaboratively within the community so the prosthetics produced are the best they can be!
**Please note:** It is very important that you work with your physician, occupational therapist, physical therapist, or prosthetist when using a 3D printed open-source e-NABLE device.
# Get a Hand!
The simplest way to get an e-NABLE device is to register for [e-NABLE Web Central](https://enablewebcentral.com/) and be matched with another volunteer.
The other online option is to ask on our [forum](https://hub.e-nable.org/s/e-nable-forum/). Introduce yourself, and connect with the rest of the e-NABLE community.
We also recommend finding a local chapter [here](https://map.e-nable.org/) and connecting with them. If you have a chapter close by, it can be more convenient to work with them.
Finally, you can make a device for yourself. Learn how to become a maker [here](https://hub.e-nable.org/content/perma?id=40340).
In any case, you will need to take accurate pictures of your limb so the device can be sized properly. Watch [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewdC3BVUNmg) to learn how.
# Join the Community
Introduce yourself to the [forum](https://hub.e-nable.org/s/e-nable-forum/).
On the third Monday of every month, we have a meetup for device users. See the [calendar](https://hub.e-nable.org/calendar/global/index) to join.
Make your voice heard!
