Hello everyone,
A little while ago, I started an educational project on the lack of access to prosthetics and how 3D printing innovation can address this issue. I wanted to share a set of educational materials I created or curated to help teach students about the global shortage of accessible prosthetics and how 3D printing can help address this need. These resources were developed as part of a Hand-A-Thon event I hosted, where participants learned basic 3D printing skills and assembled 3D printed prosthetic hands.
I attached the materials, which you are welcome to use and share if you would like! These materials can be used to introduce students or community groups to e-NABLE’s work and to support anyone who would like to host their own Hand-A-Thon event. They provide a simple starting point for teaching about the need for affordable prosthetics and how 3D printing innovation can help meet that need.
I hope you find them helpful!
