It has a major difference, though. All the joints are cut parametrically in OpenSCAD, after the scaling of the main shape, allowing standardized steel dowel pins to make high-precision, strong joints. It also supports Delrin or PTFE tubing bearings inside the pins for smooth joints, and Igus adhesive bearing tape laterally in the joints to further lower friction.
